Has relationship between ethnic groups changed since the civil rights movements?
I have to say 100% yes.
If you think about the kind of things the civil movement were fighting to change, have they have succeded in most of them.
I think the problems that happen today associated with race is social mobility.
Certain ethnic groups have a tough time moving up in the world.
If someone lives in a poor area, the school they go to may not be the best( because they cannot afford to travel to a better school in a better neighbourhood) .
If they then don't get a good education, they don't get good grades.
if someone does not get good grades, it is harder to get a well paying job.
If you cannot get a higher paying job then you have no choice but to live in a poor area.
The story repeats itself.
